Our Purpose
We craft places rooted in ecology, wellness, and belonging—where community and land are deeply intertwined.
The Vision
Tucked on a quiet peninsula surrounded by the shimmering waters of the Salish Sea, Point Roberts, Washington, is an unlikely yet extraordinary setting for one of North America’s most forward-thinking real estate projects.
Though technically part of the U.S., this exclave feels more like a forgotten outpost—closer to downtown Vancouver than Seattle, and largely unchanged for decades. With a population of just 1,100 and limited infrastructure, growth has been stalled by the lack of a municipal sewer system.
That’s beginning to change.
After years of planning, Salish Sea Farms secured approval for a commercial septic system designed to meet community needs while working in harmony with the land. This breakthrough unlocks new potential for housing, regenerative agriculture, and economic vitality.
Our vision is to reimagine Point Roberts as a resilient, nature-connected community—featuring diverse housing, wellness-centered hospitality, and local enterprises that draw people not just to visit, but to stay and thrive.
The Regenerative Farm
Just north of the Point Roberts marina, 40 acres of fallow land are poised to become a working farm rooted in regenerative and ecological design. The vision is to cultivate a thriving, full-scale operation producing organic meat, vegetables, fruit, and nuts—nourishing the community while restoring the land.
Plans include keyline design and water-harvesting swales, diverse plantings to create a multilayered food forest, and rotational grazing to build healthy soil. The goal is to create a model of agricultural resilience—one that captures carbon, enriches the ecosystem, and brings new vitality to the region.
The Neighborhood
The Agrihood at Point Roberts reimagines what it means to live in harmony with the land. Inspired by the timeless model of village life, this future neighborhood blends sustainable housing with regenerative agriculture—offering residents a deeper connection to food, nature, and community.
Planned as a mixed-use community, the neighborhood will feature two- and three-bedroom homes, live/work studios, and senior-assisted living. Each home will be thoughtfully positioned to foster a sense of place and ease of connection.
At the heart of the neighborhood lies a central green—an edible, pollinator-friendly landscape designed to bring neighbors together. Paths, gardens, and gathering spaces invite shared experiences and everyday connection.
To support the community’s agricultural roots and local economy, workforce housing will be provided for farmers and employees of nearby businesses—ensuring that those who care for the land and community can live here, too.
As the land begins its transformation—first as an extension of the farm and eventually as a vibrant neighborhood—Point Roberts offers a compelling vision for how housing, agriculture, and well-being can thrive together.
The Hotel
The project also includes plans for a boutique hospitality offering that invites guests to immerse themselves in the beauty and rhythm of life on the peninsula.
Thoughtfully integrated with vacation rentals, the hotel will feature a suite of wellness-focused amenities—such as spa services, saunas, yoga and movement spaces, and curated outdoor experiences.
Guests and residents alike will have access to the farm’s fresh, seasonal bounty, enjoying meals crafted from ingredients grown just steps away. Whether staying for a weekend or a season, visitors will experience the magic of the Salish Sea through restorative, land-connected living.
